Default About Recursive modulation

I was wondering why the envelopes of the virus: DECAY isn't linear?

It is already bend... Wouldn't it be easier if we wanted it to be convex or concave we did it manually. Via matrix, selfmodulate...

Now when it is already bend. It's a more problem...

What do u think ?

Yes, self modulate. Via matrix feed the envelope to itself

Bend the linear line convex or concave...

Hi...
ok so i tried this...
i am able to hear a change in the way the envelope behaves.

(Matrix slot 1 : source - filt env , dest - filt env attack.)

but with the attack amount set to 40 for example, on the envelope page and a negative value in the matrix , i get a short attack and with a positive value in the matrix, i get a very long attack time...
howcome the attack time is changing?? should it not just change the curve to convex or concave ?
am i doing something wrong ??

thanks

I remember marc once said it does't always behave as expected.. even though it's in the manual, it's not really advised by access
