Default (unsolved) Using the Virus with no pc or keyboard? Possible?

Hey!

is it any buttons that plays like a note, so you dont need a keyboard or comp with a sequencer? my computer is at service but i really want to use my desktop!

Press shift + search thats the audition button (well thats what it is on my ti1 keyboard anyway) still a lot better with a midi keyboard though...

ok thanks! works great!
but how do i stop it? im trying to click shift and search again, but it makes a really annoying peeping noise.. that i cant stop! is it anything wrong with my virus??

Question

Hmm have you got the release turned up on the amplifier envelope? mine stays on when for a while when thats turned right up but apart from that it doesnt...

sticky button perhaps?

ITS not a preset.. its a noise that is horrible! that indicates that something is wrong.. i dont know.. ?!?!??!

Ok go to rom a-127 -Init-. Then audition the sound. Sound should stop as soon as you let go of the buttons.

Have you got it plugged into an amp or anything? Try with headphones only as well.

the sound doesnt stop unless i turn of the virus..
its like if you got 2 speakers that is not connected good enough.. but thats not the problem here..
ive tried some headphones as well.. same problem..
just trying out some patches, and then the sound suddenly comes..

Hmm i havnt heard of that on here what OS are you on maybe try updating or check the input though settings in the config menu i think. Maybe someone else can help you out thats about as much as i know next step access support....

You should search this forum for "sudden bursts of noise". the matter has been discussed a lot.
