Designing bubbly, squirky fxsounds, yet a melody
Hi!
Im doing a Psy Trance track right now, with my Virus B. and i need a strange bubbly, squirkly fx sound which yet can be played as a melody. best example is infected mushroom's "semi nice", I'll put a file here. please tell me how to achieve similar results. i don' necessarily need exactly THIS sound, but something similar. thanks

Infected Mushroom heavily use the Virus. Post the file....and someone here should be able to come up with something VERY simialr.

OOOpssss....
Sorry I was thinking of UnderGroundBassMasters (Similar style of music). I should imagine that most of their best/hardest sounds come from the Jupiter-6, Nord Lead. Nice studio they have. DS

yeah their studio is great, i know they use their nord a lot, most of their sounds have that metallic nordy touch

i think they recently added a virus c to their setup
thos are 2 years old pictures they have a new website but no studio pics section :\ www.infected-mushroom.net

I've listened to some IM and it does sound like they've got a Virus lurking in there somewhere......perhaps sampled in?
The truth is...if u run any synth through a phaser....they all sound 'virusy'. Turn the phaser off........do u think it still sounds like a Virus...or could it be any other synth??/ DS
