Default Does the TI work as a VST well now?

Hi. I've been reading all the posts about the TI because I'm deeply interested in this synth, so i'm aware of all the problems.

But what I'd like to know is...how does the TI work now as a VSTi? what kind of problems does it have right now? A friend of mine has told me it works well now, and I'd like to know if that's your experience too.

I already own a Virus, so really the reason why I would buy a TI is because of its integration as a Vst inside the sequencer.

thanks in advance

Well I posted yesterday about my woes....it works fine with MIDI and automation in Cubase if I use the analog outs on the unit. Sounds FANTASTIC, AMAZING, WONDERFUL.

Using the TI as a VSTi in Cubase, even the smallest 8-bar sequence with a simple filter sweep makes all sorts of clicks, pops and crackles. Totally unusable. I tried for hours, and couldn't get ONE GOOD TAKE recorded.

EDIT!
It should be stated, as I forgot to say, is that I'm using an eMac, OSX 10.3.9, Cubase SX 3.1.1.944 with 1GB RAM. The TI's OS I'm using is 1.0.9

Thanks for your feedback. I'd love to buy a TI, but I'd hate to have those kinds of problems. And since the main reason why I'd like a TI is its integration with software, I won't buy one till it's actually a TI...

uff, then it depends. so the only way to know for sure if it works is buying it. Then I'm not buying it in quite a while...

My 2C

Using the TI under Cubase SX3 (latest update)

I have my TI working as a VSTi but it IS unstable and unpredictable when using specific sounds from the " Girl Next Door" collection. Christ knows why this should be the case but that's when my machine dies. Other than that its fine.

I'm no longer using the machine as an audio device now I have my Rig back in one place and am using my MAudio FW1814, which is a lot better although the TI worked fine using the audio inputs to take the audio from my MPC.

In short its a good machine but I do get pissed with the hanging notes and instances where it fails to write patches to memory properly.

All in all I'm sure it'll get better. I think AM should pull their finger out though. Concept is great but poorly executed.

We are very sad to hear this...Can't understand why???Is it the Effects sounds. They are short sharp APR bursts...They all work perfect on my System (Otherwise i wouldn't have been able to programm them)
Anyone else having a nightmare with our patches???
