Digital Screams

The name came to life early in 1998 when I started to get a fixation on analog synths and 80's music. It was around this time that he Nord 2 and JP8000 had just come out.....and I guess I was dissapointed when I first realized that virtual analog was nothing like real analog. Hence the durogatory name

I used to fantasize about making electronic music using analog synths and having an album cover covered in red neon 0's and 1's going across it.

But since then...Ive come to like certain digital synths....but im reluctant to change my name. In fact Ill always be known as Digital Screams....

My first name.

Mates originally called me Timotei (strangely, a shampoo) for a laugh, then Timo stuck. It's kinda rare in the UK, although not in Scandinavia although it's pronounced Teemoh there, not Timoh. Some people still pronounced it Teemoh back from when I was at university. I'm not fussed either way. At least it's better than Timothy.
