Default Virus Snow - Patches won't appear in the browser

I recently downloaded some Virus presets and moved them to the Virus Snow directory as usual. For some reason though, they do not appear in the personal libraries selection. Does anyone know what is up with this? The format is midi as usual, is there some other method of loading them?

Aaaand nothing has changed.

Honestly, I would think more people wanted to know the answer to this as some of the real classic soundsets don't work.

I'd reach out to the creator of the sounds. Are you sure they are designed for the TI series as opposed to the older Virus models?

Sometimes sound vendors put them out in multiple formats, and for reasons I have not fully investigated, the Snow editor will recognize one version of the .mid file but not the other. Like I said I'm not sure what file format differences might exist between them, maybe someone else knows.

That might be the case.

I think the soundset was called Realm: mythology or something like that. It's possible that the set was for C, but is there no way to convert the midi file to be recognized in the TI series?

I don't have answers but there's an old thread here on the subject:

http://www.infekted.org/virus/showthread.php?t=30069

Only problem is it requires you to have both a C and a TI.

Also a little poking around reveals the guy who wrote the Realm: mythology soundset is here: http://innerportalstudio.com and his name is Eric. You might contact him and see if he has a TI compatible version of the mid file on hand. Please share with us if you get a working copy.
