No. "Information" from stores should never be considered official.

No, the information is not official.
It?s what different stores told me (with the OS Problems!)
The November relaese date is from Music Store Collogne only.
I just sent a very long E-Mail with opnions from us customers to Access and hope, they send back some useful information.
Otherwise I?ll have a visit at Access. Maybe the I have some "success at Access" but I more think there will be "no access at Access!!!".
Regards
MarcTale

why not shave your head, put on some dark sunglasses, practice your english accent, paying attention to words like "Is that Fat enough?"
Then they will think you are Ben Crosland and give you VIP all access@Access
I think it is a good plan.....and maybe get yourself some beta units

I've been waiting for eight months now, observing the posts in here, especially concerning the expected shipping date of the Virus TI.
I just created an account to say:
Well, that was it for me. I'm going to buy another synth (maybe Roland V-Synth XT or Alesis Andromeda). The wait is just too long.

MarcTale...Hopefully this is a joke!
November would most definately be terrible.
One year without a virus is enough to get me killed lol
Especially if they are holding it up only for the mac users!
Anyway, it's all speculation. Nobody knows

Does an Ostrich use breathing apparatus when its head is in situ?
But more importantly...
ACCESS, MAKE A STATEMENT OR SOMETHING GODDAMMIT, SO PEOPLE CAN BE INFORMED AND GET ON WITH THEIR LIVES WITHOUT TEARING THEIR HAIR OUT.
WTF IS HAPPENING?

Well, this is still the most "official" info we can get regarding the TI these days, isnt it? at least untill access would be kind enough to let us know where things really stand. I`ve been very patiant for the past 7 monthes, but this is starting to get old real fast now.
sorry for the rant.
Best,
midi.

I just don't understand why they don't release the units as standalone synths for the mean time so we can start using the sounds etc. Then just email us the software once it works properly! The whole TI concept was obviously biting off a little more than they could chew. Thats obvious to everyone now. Surely this would be a better compromise than losing dozens of customers
Its probably just the stubborn Germans' unwillingness to admit that they got anything wrong. They can blame it on this OS and that OS, but alot of us don't care. We just want the sounds!
That is all
