WaveTable Oscillators?

3 Questions from a wannabe Virus TI user:

1) Will the WaveTable Oscillators allow you to import your own samples? (Compatible with any existing sound library?)

2) The HyperSaw? Oscillators are actually hardware or software based? What about this MiniMoog filter?

3) Can the effects and filters be used as VST EFFECTS or only as VST INSTRUMENTS?

Not sure. They haven't released any information about the wavetable osc's yet.

Software based, but inside the Virus hardware operating system.

Same as above.

The software on the computer is basically an advanced controller interface, but it doesn't carry out any sound processing itself - it just routes data and controller signals to and from the Virus.

I know you can use the effects, filters and stuff with the Virus' audio input, and now it's linked via USB computer audio will be able to be sent to the virus to be processed. If this feature happens to come up in the form of a "VST effect" on-screen, then probably yes, both.
