Default Unfinished ambient thing

http://www.kolumbus.fi/juho.lepisto/Ambient.mp3

I'm not sure have I posted this before, but here it goes. Still lacks melodies, but it's a good base.

Edit: Uh-oh. Those saz melodies don't fit very well on that end and the track is pretty much drenched in reverb.

not a bad track, infact its quite nice!

i really like the vocal stabs in there, gives it a "world music" feel (if u know what i mean). also the appegiator line that comes in at the 1min17 mark is great and fits really well!

now to the harsh bit....the production isnt up to your usual standard though juho...it seems very muddy (reverbs fault i think), plus the high precusion seems to sit a little far back in the mix (i am listening on headphones today though)...

good composition (as always)...nice work..

ill have a listen later on monitors, so maybe my comment about the production will change...(but i dont think it will)..

by the way, i like those melodies on the end, i think they fit really well!

Yes. That was what I was aiming at.

Saw with little short envelope, mod wheel to control cutoff and some phaser. Simple as hell.

There's too much reverb & delay. I didn't bother to adjust those because I'm going to remake this tracj anyway with my new gear. There's quite lot of reverb in the percussion so that's the problem.

What else would you expect? Hohoo.

But they do come out of nowhere. I need a bridge for those.

Nah. I'm not going to do that. Too much trouble and the outcome might be not-so-good. Maybe some winds or I could persuade my friend to play english horn on that track.
