hey how is it going Ben

how is the noisefloor on the TI comparing with the VC? I had the indigo II, the headphone and output jacks were very noisy (that's with noise osc at zero). Do you hear any noise with the TI at all?

I assumed it was my analog eqs...or one of the old things in my studio but everytime it came back to the Virus (c) - which suprised me.

The noise floor is inaudible through my 'phones. The outputs are at least as quiet as the C.

Whilst the original Indigo had a noisy headphone out, I thought that was improved for the II? Anyway, the main outputs certainly shouldn't have been noisy - there is a relatively common situation which can cause noisy outs though, which is where Input Boost has been inadvertantly turned up..

When did you get the IndigoII? I had a few Virus KC's between June 2003 and Sept 2004.....and I noticed Access upgraded the headphone socket around Jan/feb 2004. This effectively made the headphone socket noiseless. Now I know people have commented on the headphone socket noise....but this issue became redundent after the upgrade was made.

I should think the TI is about as quiet as one can get.....

Ben can you comment on the TI's general progress? We still looking at months do you reckon. Id like you to break the industry secrets act and just spill the beans. Dont worry....you were under duress. LOL

So i'm assuming that the release of the manual means that a release date is coming soon, well at least that's what i'm hoping.

...but it has to be a step in the right direction.

of course, the manual can always be reviewed/changed upon release...
