I've been playing with my TI Polar for about 5 hours and I'm totally blown away by EVERY simgle aspect of the TI. I don't know what some of you guys expected but once you set your latency right(I use 7ms which is not bad), it is really is IMPRESSIVE to say the least. I used to own a Virus KC and it doesn't sound near as good as the TI...Really worth the upgrade!

The USB interface is incredible to say the least...I had no problems exporting my stuff and had only a few crackles when changing too many parameters at once but let's face it, nothing worth crying for.

I've been really impressed, hopefully the problems won't surface in a couple of days because so far(with the latest update), everything is rock solid and really stable except one or two reboots in 5 hours which is not too bad(I have faith Access will fix this over time.

In a few days I will post various screesnhots/audio clips/pictures
first audio clip, was all made in less than 1 hr so the quality could and will be better:
http://www.madstation.net/virus_test.mp3

p.s. I'm glad I could turn down the LEDS intensity a bit on my TI Polar because they were so bright I thought it was chrismas!!
Awesome patches from Ben Crosland btw...Amongst the best in the pack!
And for those of you thought that Ben's face was funny demonstrating the Virus TI(I personannly loved it hah) , I'm well glad that no one can see me twisting those knobs!!!!! lol Damn this is way too much fun.

Great work Access! I'm impressed. I have total confidence that you will get rid of the very few bugs...and thanks for the red knob

Madstation, you summed it up nicely. I am blown away with the flexibility and control that I now have (plus That Sound!!!) Since I upgrade to the latest os and bios my system is quite stable.

The Ti is one hot mama

Ease of use = 9
Features = 10+++
Sound = 9
Manual = 8
The look = 10 for the Polar

Reliability = Perfectly fine so far, I don't experience any issues now after applying the latest firmware update.

I hope those who are complaining without even having played the machine don't ever buy one. The less electro musicians who have this thing the better for those who do. :P

Nice demo there Madstation. Nice use of the wavetables.

To all of you with the TIs,

My demo requests are wavetables, and full dark saw patches.

technomonster: Everything was recorded using the realtime export and both USB channels. I had 9 virus channels and about 2-5% cpu usage.

I'll post a better and more extensive demo in the next few days

Another demo of the TI, this time it's trance tho :

The sound quality of the TI is phenomenal, they just have to sort down the export issues and it will really be a Total Integration.

Nice to hear the TI in action but honestly I don't hear any difference (at least in these demos) or that the TI would sound better than the Virus B/C/Powercore. Of course the specs are better and the synth will be a joy to use if access gets the driver and usb working well but the best and most used Virus "trance sounds" for example existed already before TI and usually "trance sounds" don't include wavetables but basic waveforms.

Btw, the sounds of the first demo reminds me of the sounds of Logic Pro 7's Sculpture synth. It's not a wavetable synth but a physical modeling synth and can do some really nice weird soundscapes with exceptionally good sound quality and clarity.
