Default Tutorial on how to make your own patches?

Nothing in the manual. Did a search here, couldn't find any steps.

Do you basically start off with raw oscillators and just tweak from there? with the c-127 patch or which one? any info would be wicked.

please. kthxbye.

Start with the 127 start patch. I replaced all my a and b banks with that sound.

Start with the osc. Go on to the filters and envelopes. Next could be the LFOs and mod matrix. Finally go to the effects.

You can of course go back and forth. Do it anyway you want. I will tell you to spend some time at different sections and see what you can do with them. When you get bored, go to another section.

For different type of sounds, you use different kinds of wave forms.

Sine = flute, whistle, organ, FM leads
Saw = Strings, Leads, Brass, choir
Tri = Talky, vox, choir, organ, leads
Square = Bells, metallic sounds, leads, super mario.

By making a Choir. use tri wave, paralel band pass filters. cutoff at the middle and high amount of resonance. Use slow attack. Have the LFO to do pitch on one of the oscillators smothly. You should be able to make a choir.
