I know this is a long shot, but I would really like to listen/play with a Virus first hand. I've heard all the demos, but in order to convince myself that I want this, I have to have some time with it. Unfortunately, there are no retailers here that have it. The closest Guitar Center (Lincoln) also does not carry it. They said they were a lower tiered store. I realize the Virus is somewhat of an exotic synth so I am not too surprised I can't find it locally.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I'll drive up to 3 or so hours away for a little time with one =P. That puts me in the range of Kansas City as well.

Oh and, this is my first post. Hi everyone

No the TI is just hard to come by. I live in Columbus OH and there was not one available in the entire state! Had to drive to sweetwater in Fort Wayne IN to demo one. (Their new complex is amazing) I still had to be put on a waiting list through sweetwater as they don't even carry a lot of stock.

I waited up after a 14 hour shift drove through rush hour traffic and then demo'd one, I couldn't wait and bought the demo keyboard even though it had a flaw on the wood end. I have to say if you ever wanted a synth then the demo will be worth the drive. (plus I had to do a 3 hour drive, scary with my new baby tightly wrapped in the seatbelts )

I may, on one of my trips to Chicago, demo a unit. Quite honestly, I think I'm sold on the Virus TI Polar no matter what i do
