after sound diver load....

Okay I finally had to load sound diver because fl studio was not sending the midi patches over to the virus.
everything works fine now, BUT my filter cutoff knob, now everytime (so far every patch but one time I think, and even the "stock" patches) already has a value entered????....for example, when I use to go and turn the filter (before EVER messing with loading anything on my virus) the filter # on the left display, was always zero then slowly went up as I turned it.
now I get say, for example, it says filter 11, so when I turn it fast, it zippers the sound for a second and it sounds awful.........so, how do I get the filter(s) back to the way it was, and keep these new patches loaded?

p.s. I still can't get the 1024 update to work even with sound diver, it says something about do you want to load the library too, where is the sound diver manual?!!!!!!!!
