Default Finally A Track

This is the best work I've ever done. I hope it will be a hit in the clubs.

Hey, no problem. SO what ya saying? I take drugs?!

I uploaded some songs I really did last night. They were all done at different times. Some are better than others. All are crap. Some have just bad mastering (Layered Sweat has some levels problem [limiter]). Some I could never make again unless I got my old gear.

Dfun is the last track I recorded. One of the tracks was using an mpc and a ms2000. Pick a song and tell me about what you think.

cool uden!! i cant listen to those tracks today, but i will in the next few days...im lookin forward to it!

about mastering...as long as you still have the seperate recorded parts, its always possible to improve on poor mixes....

by the way, i would never say you take drugs! u 2 bit junkie!! hehehe jk

i couldnt wait to have a listen, so i put work on the back burner a bit...hehehe, its only work....

im listening to layered sweat now!

i see what u mean with the levels...but its got an original feel! i like that metalic sound at the 1min28 mark...it creates a groove....i kinda wish that bassline would have evolved more thru the track...

now im listening to no stoppin its sound...

i like the start of this one...very interesting sounds...i cant help thinking it needs some high end precussion..im at about the 1min 40 mark, that noise sound fits well...u could really do with a penetrating lead sound in this track, along side some high precussion IMO...this one has a sturdy bass to build on, its just lacking a little something....

ill have to leave it there for today and head off home....ill give some of the others a listen later, and tell ya what i think (not that it matters what i think!)

This sweat thing reminds me of Flat Beat.

Why this swells so much?

Edit: I didn't noticed you mentioned that limiter problem.

None of these were multitracked or anything. They are somewhat "live". Sequnce muting recorded in Wavelab. Some have actual live playing (Dfun). You can hear some mistakes maybe. I don't plan on improving most. I'm just gonna move on and improve my mixing and Wavelab mastering.

Layered Sweat was when I was trying out the limiter in Wavelab. I was turning the arp on the Virus on and off towards the end. It was a real quick thing I put together that I decided to record.

.
i have one track like that too...i did it live with a mate of mine..we recorded it monitoring on hi-fi gear, when i got the track onto monitors i realized we had too much bass in the mix and not enough high end.....
mastering a single track of audio is very frusttrating!!

ive been mastering many of my old tracks through wavelab recently....ive been trying to improve on my mastering too....bloody hard work!

Got that right. One of the tracks, I think No Stoppin, is recorded from a MiniDisc while I played a SFX patch from the virus. Lot's of noise at the beginning. I never figured out how to get rid of noise recording on a minidisc.
