Does the CD ROM that came with the Virus KC contain the original banks?
It seems like a logical thing to include with a synthesizer... I have not looked at mine since I bought it but will check it tonight to see if they are there as I am thinking about wiping my board and loading some new banks onto it... Good luck Bro! -Alex

You got a CD Alex????
Alls I got was the Sound Diver CD. The factory sound set should be already installed on the Virus when you get it. Why not try loading the .mid file into a sequencer and restore the factory sound bank from there?

Installing...
I've got the correct files... they are on the CD with the OS.
But I can't get them into the KC... I know that it is totally a user issue, and I have read the documentation. I just can't get it to go... I don't know how it was so easy to load all of the new banks, but so difficult to get the factory patches back.
