Default Yamaha DX7IID,hows the keyboard action on thos?

Hi
im looking to replace my cheapo evolution 49key controler with a decent 61keyboard and dont need any faders or knobs.
I heard some great stuff about the built of dx7Mk2 and aspecialy about the keyaction (non plastic cheap feel) in addition i always had a secret passion for the dx7 and i thought: "for about the same amount of money i can a great keyboard and a nifty synth!"

programing it will not be a problem since i will be doing it on screen using midi quest sound editor or will do the programing on the NI FM7 and export.

Anyone own\owned the Mk2 and can comment about the key action?

Im back bitch Its been busy my end...just started a new job and ive been ooohhh soooo very tired in the evenings

OK Tommer, well as you know...I love my DX7MKIIFD as it gives me my 80's fix. The key action is suprisingly good and feels nicer than most modern day synth actions. People still use them as controllers.

Think of it as a cheap midi controller with classic sounds thrown in. Thats what I do....

The SynthWizard has some advice - Back in the 1980's music was better, TV was better, films were better. Not to mention fashion.... Let me help you relive the past with some classic 80's sounds from my vintage synth collection....
