I don't get it - have you remastered this then or do you mean remixed? I guessed you mean remixed so here goes...

I don't know the original so can't compare but it seems quite a decent track.

THings I like:
I like the melody parts through out the track. The composition is very good. The mix isn't too bad, although the highs are a bit fuzzy for my liking and the percussion gets lost.

Things I don't like so much:
You may have problems if you press this to vinyl - the phase looks all over the shop to me - probably the highs judging by the patterns.
I am not very keen on the bass sound or the bass line (but I guess the line is stereotypical for the genre). The percussion could do with some work, the hats sound a bit weak and I can hardly hear the snare. The kick could maybe do with being passed through somekind of signal enveloper and perhaps have some very low sub-kicks mixed into it to define it more. The whole percussion gets lost within all the melody parts.

Of course others may totally disagree - I am no professional!

There may appear to be a lot more negatives but really I think you've done quite a good job (its 1 track more than I have finished in the last 2 years!)

Thanks for posting it,

Drammy

To my polluted ears its sounding a little too upper mid/high boosted for my liking. I know MP3's in general sound like shite and its very difficult to comment on anything except pure wav......

The track is the standard fair for the genre and it has pleasant albeit predictable progressions but ultimately its a bit too forgettable....mixing needs attention and a possible rethink as to some of the sounds used for the instrument/percussion parts.

This is just my opinion. If this is a bedroom attempt then its great....if your trying to release this then you need to improve...but its not for me to say how to do that as im stuck in the 80's

The SynthWizard has some advice - Back in the 1980's music was better, TV was better, films were better. Not to mention fashion.... Let me help you relive the past with some classic 80's sounds from my vintage synth collection....

I thought you were Robbie Bronniman.

Btw, too much high frequency boost or resonance. I had to stop listening after 20 seconds to avoid hearing damage.

Yep...I agree with the others, too much top end. Leave the mastering to the mastering engineers!!!!

Other than that, sounds like a cool track. Trance is not my thing, but it sounds like a trance track to me (Did that make any sense???)

Nice work mate, and thanks for posting!
