DS had a good idea. Roland Fantom X or Motif ES. Go to a mig music store and try them out.

Yes. About 800 euros.
Edit: Roland Fantom XR - 1269?
Roland Fantom X6 - 2111?
Yamaha Motif ES rack - 1259?
Yamaha Motif ES6 - 2180?

Yup. Not a bad choice at all. The best price/value rated gear around. By the way is your Virus a desktop or a keyboard version?

I just found out that there?s more than the keyboard missing in the rack edition of the Motif ES. From http://www.motifator.com:
"...The MOTIF RACK ES has no sampling facility, no sequencer, no sliders, and no SmartMedia card slot..."
That might also explain the big price difference
