Hello marc, I just thought - is it possible to remotely control master volume on Virus ti (via cc or sysex) in multi mode so that all track volumes get decreased proportionally.

It's funny because I was annoyed at this at first as well. Then I just approached it to having all my levels lower instead of starting out to where I have very little headroom. I could always maximize the volume later on down the line, it's nice to be able to get everything playing nice with plenty of space to mess around with if need be.
