Default Exporting a song with Virus channels from Ableton

Hi,

I'm pretty new to the Virus TI and Ableton, so apologies for my novice question.

I've set up a song in Ableton in the Arrange View with 8 Virus Midi Channels (plus various audio channels). This all plays fine. I want to export this as an .aiff or similiar, but of course the "Export Audio/Video" function under the File Menu doesn't export the Virus Channels.

Do I need to Render or Record the Virus midi? Do I need to convert them to audio tracks? If so, how do I do this?

Thanks in advance,

Fletch.

Yes..

create an audio track, and set in input to "resampling"

and record it real time.

If your computer cant run whole project real-time. Then only record the virus.

save the project, and delete all the channels which have been resampled.

and export.

afterwards you can undo to get the deleted channels back.
