Default Less snap/crackle/pop?

A question from sdr00 got me thinking.

Is the Virus TI less prone to crackles/pops when using the analogue audio outputs rather than USB audio?

Personally I highly doubt the snap and crackles appear within Access-Music products especially when the device is very strong in analog recreation and excellent workmanship in the hardware. Maybe external hardware or connectors may cause that or peaking occurs with an odd setting other than access products. As of now with the new OS being unstable and all, it does crash so yea. Other than that the device is neat. No other Synth that I know of that can touch it.

SH*T you have got to be joking man! The snap/crackle/pop affair has been going on for years in the TI line. Where have you been? Obviously not hanging around here or the old VirusTI.com forums

And to answer the original posters question...No!

the snap and pop and crackle is related to bad dsp programming and a lack of failsafe mechanism and buffering in multi mode on the mk1 ti and the dsp not being able to cope with the demands of certain patches in multi mode alot of the time. The fix is to use single mode or buy the ti 2 or a snow and use less parts in multi mode , most problems and pops and clicks i had seem to have been solved as i used less multi parts or used single mode only on the ti mk 1.
