Default Interesting hearing and music oriented tests

Test how well your ear recognises different tones.
Test how well you recognise rythm patterns
Test how well you recognise tone patterns

What scores you guys get? I'd bet we'll have loads of excellent ratings at rythm recognising.

Wow. Pretty impressive scores there, mate! Especially the 0,75Hz on tones. Any tendency to absolute pitch?

I got these sores:

Tones - 1.65Hz
Rythm patterns - 76%
Tone patterns - 88,9%

Probably fluke on the tones - lol

Though I do usually have good pitch - been years since I did vocals though. On rhythm stuff - well - Im a drummer as well as keys - gives you an ear for picking apart certain types of rhythms I guess - need to spend more time with a percussion friend to get more used to picking apart ethnic percussion.

Excellent on the Tone patterns BTW

Nice. For some odd reason when the tones went to 0,75Hz differences I always heard that the second tone was clearly higher.

Yup. Pitch seems to be a thing that is hard to train. You either have good pitch or you don't - Although some people claim that it's even possible to train the hearing all the way to the perfect pitch, but that's complete poppycock.

That 1,65Hz result from the pitch test explain why I should not tune a guitar by ear.
