last night i worked on the song and maaan..very
complicated stuff..i'm more of a "slow-hand" blues kind of player
but hey..i'll take the challenge and hopfully the changes of structure
will fit my style better..shoot, that was an ego blaster for me..
It's just big plus that you're more blues player! I hate players who think the speed is the essence, which is not. They tap stupid minor scales in 32th's with 180bpm and think it sounds good. It doesn't sound good, it sounds like technique practice. Play the track in your own style. Add your own licks & stuff. I don't want speed, I want it to just sound good. I can add a short blues part there for you to play solo on if you want to.

Actually there sohuldn't even be any fast parts. For example on the Trakus-like part in the beginning the guitar goes just the C-c-G-F# loop ("C" is lower C and "c" is C one octave higher) on every bar. There the shortest note is 1/4 (but it has high tempo so it's a bit faster than usual 1/4's).

That might be a bit too heavy program for recording on P2. Does it work fine (otherwise the latency)?

You could also try out that CoolEdit.

Well that version has real guitars only on that heavy intro part and that groovy part after the medieval theme.
