I've bought my Modular ages ago, but haven't got it here yet. Just have to wait Sebastian to send it to me.

Thought to post this remaster of Sivuainevalinnan Vaikeus.

By the way, might you Exalibur be interested in playing guitars for the remake of this song? I'm going to make a modern version of this song. This original version is more done like it would have been done in the good ol' days (moog horns, simple synths) and I'm planning to add good orchestral samplings, cathedral organ, a bit more complex synths, live bass, more guitar + maybe even vocals.

Edit: + real drums if I happen to find a drummer. Maybe even some rearranging is needed.

by the time you renew the track i'll get a decent computer with a
good recording setup.

Hmm... What kind of recording setup you have at the moment? You really don't need ultimate high-end system. Even older computer can run for example CoolEdit with one track playing the backgrounds and second track for your recording. Even decent recording is ok for me because all the quality flaws are not so clear when the guitar is playing with the background.

You could record as "dried bread" sound, which means that you just take the signal from your amp line out to your soundcard line in. I can add amp sims and process the track for better outcome later. For example all the guitars on Herkkusieni's Paranoid are recorded that way with CoolEdit and Soundblaster and the sounds are ok.

My computer is an old Pentum 2 with a really bad sound blaster SC
when ever i try to record audio, even one track, it's falling down on me.
can't you're brother lay the guitar track? (he is a guitarist,no?)
anyway, when you'll have the remake, post it and i'll try to think
about another solution.

Hmm... That's strange. Pentium 2 should be able to record single stereo 44,1 16-bit track easily. Even my ancient 486 66MHz could record that.

Yes, but he doesn't have a computer and there's about 120km distance between me and him.

Ok. It'll take pretty long so you have plenty of time to think up. I could get these guitars done by the same people than on Herkkusieni productions, but I thought it would be nice variation to get you to play the guitar. But let's see how the things go.

Ok. But be prepared for structural changes and even some additional parts. Feel free to make your own riffs and solos there.

I'm a litlle afraid it's kinda out of my league, those guys are
quite a guitar monsters and i'm afraid i wont be able to fit in
their shoes..last night i worked on the song and maaan..very
complicated stuff..i'm more of a "slow-hand" blues kind of player
but hey..i'll take the challenge and hopfully the changes of structure
will fit my style better..shoot, that was an ego blaster for me..
