Default Having Lag issues in Logic 9 with Access Virus TI

Hello,

I've been working on a song using my Access Virus TI Desktop Synth in logic pro 9 via USB with the ControlPlugin and using all 16 available tracks from the Virus and it seems like every time i double up and let two synths play the same thing, often times everything throughout just starts getting laggy and falls behind, and sounds like i'm not quantized and I am! Or simply if i just have too many parts playing at the same time, it's quite frustrating.. Does anyone know what causes this and how to fix it?

Below, I attached images of the settings I'm using in logic, as well as what my project looks like if that helps by any chance, and the settings of the mac I'm running on..
