Default Good or VERY bad?

What do you think?

This website legally sells entire mp3 albums from 2 pence upwards (?0.02).

You can buy the new Scissor Sisters album for ?1.08!

Very worrying for anyone like us wanting to strive in the music business...

Only way I made any cash was royalties. Sales? Pressed 1000 vinyl and I made ?300 profit.
Gotta be a disco hit to make cash then live gigs. I'm not giving up me job anytime soon.

The legality is by no means clear cut, especially if you are not in Russia. And seeing as neither the artists or the labels get a cent of what you pay allofmp3 you may as well get your mp3s via file sharing instead of paying money to some cunts who are out to profit as much as they can off other people's hard work. At least file sharers aren't making money from their activities.

We don't need to follow the trends and ideas of the current vastly controlled and heavily manipulated commercial music businesses, but instead go our own ways generating new trends and ideas which work out more the way we ourselves choose.

Therefore avoiding the creation of our own circumstance of being the poor poor victims to such piracy or other exploitations, or through working slavishly to the whims of any controlling others.

Being the creative artistic types that we are, such thinking out of the box should come easy enough?

Though if its any kind of 'look at me i'm rich and famous' that you want then its a slave to the system and its circumstances you will be

I wonder how they get hold of the mp3s in the first place - surely the record companies can't be providing them and then whinging about the thing!

So allofmp3 should be able to make money of your music and not share that with you why? Why shouldn't I just go and use filesharing instead?

allofmp3 aren't some good guys fighting against the music industry, they are a business making money off other peoples work without compensating those people for their work at all.

Its not costing anything for the record companies to make, and there still probably getting a share of the sales from the websites sale. Some are going for ?3 for an album, so its like selling 1000 copies for ?6 or 2000 for ?3, and its better than people deciding to get the files for free off p2p.
