Yeah I wasn't sure if you were serious, I have always written fruity loops off as entry level crap... but I went to the website and checked out their latest software, it looks nice.

Well I talked it over with my other keyboard player and he said he'd loan me the $800 dollars to buy Cubase tomorrow.

Yikes! Does Cubase cost 800$?

Does it come with a manual these days at least?

Sorry for a less than useless appraisal of Sonar before. OK. It sounds great. VST support now. Assign any knobs you have to control any parameter in mixer, soft synths or effects. Audio quantise, stretch, midi follow audio. Track folders. Manual. Nice after sales girl called Janice. Last one I made up.

With the pro bundle package its around 800, I decided to go with the 400 dollar version which excludes the bundles... just in case I don't like it.


I have sonar, I just never got into it.

Logic on mac! but since i have switched to windoze, I have been an ableton man! Cant get enough of this cheeky program!

Cubase All The Way

Logic stinks. Well versions 4-6 were CACA!

I have played with Logic 7 on a MAC and its quite an improvement.

Much better.

Can't wait to get Cubase 4
