Default Ti Remote Mode

Hi All,
I've just read the Ti manual and VC tutorial to get a better idea of whether I need it or not and I have a question about the Remote Mode. How is the Remote mode actually invoked in a sequencer, say Logic Pro? Is it considered a control surface in preferences? I am just thinking that if another VI is inserted on an instrument track there is nowhere to insert the VC. Or does entering the Remote Mode c/w relevant template then automatically ready the Ti to send messages on whatever Logic track is selected thus negating the need for VC?

Also, I can't see any preconfigured remote templates on the website as indicated in the manual. Any idea where I might find a list of preconfigured templates?

Apologies for all the questions but it is a big purchase for me.

Thanks and regards

David

Hey
You don't need VC at all to use the remote mode. Just hold down SHIFT + CONFIG on the TI and you enter the Remote Mode. Then you can select a template. Once this is done, make sure you have the corresponding VST track selected in your sequencer and start twisting the knobs!

If you want to manage the templates you have to load VC and look in the top right corner...You select UTILITY and then you can add new templates or edit existing ones.

Personally it's one of my fav features of the TI...I barely touch the keyboard anymore when writing music!

Hmmm...i'm still new to this function.

I use VC mode all the time but I would love the capability to control other vsts.

Is that what this function does?

If so..........Oooooooooh shit! Can't wait.

I gotta mess around with it.

Can anyone steer me into the right direction?

Thanks
