Someone here had posted pictures of their own home made racks. Not sure who a lot of the links no longer exist. They where big wooden frames that could be stacked I think.

I am planning on making my own but was wondering where they got the(excuse my description) L shape brackets that they screwed to the sides of the frame that the rack kit could be screwed into? Anyone got any ideas, Maplin or studio spares maybe? What's the technical name for these things?

Thanks again everyone.

Hey guys......love the photos......but im concerned.

I see alot of cheap freebie red/white cables hooked upto your gear. Shite cable really reduces the detail/clarity of sounds..... + it makes things sounds a little colder. In short, it reduces the dynamics. If youve invested heavily in a Virus (or other expensive synth) then do yourself and your recordings a favour and get decent cable.

*Ideally you want to get cable that has gold plated plugs, uses high grade copper and is sheilded. Expect to pay a minimum of ?40 for 2 twenty foot runs. Its worth the added investment......you can thank me l8r.

DS heheh

Jolly

Im very interested to know what you think about the new Voyager. Do you have any past analog experience to compare it with? I myself have used the SCI Pro-One and Korg Mono-Poly as monosynths. I actually think the Jupiter 8 throws out excellant bass aswell (Very warm and deep.....but a little slow). So does the Voyager sound similar to a Minimoog? Or does it have a different character altogether?

Thx

DS

I program with an editor on the PC. The editor is very fast and easy to use, so it's no problem.

As for using opening the cutoff, it's possible to use the Alpha dial with-out holding a button.
