That is indeed the job of a goalie - but if the only reason for no contact is the agility of the attacking player managing to get out of the way then the ref is perfectly correct to award a pen.

Why should the attacker be penalised just because he managed to get out of the way?


It was a pen!

Newcastle was the last game I saw City play away from home. Bloody hell. 5 years ago. Always enjoyed going there. Great fun in the pubs.

So.. Jan 7th... how are Cardiff gonna do against the mighty Spurs then in the FA cup 3rd round...? Cardiff are not my team - but local to where I live and its about friggin time a Welsh team did something!!
