Definitely man...thats a sensible thing to do. The P1 has all the dirt, rawness, darkness and warmth industrial music needs (well all genres actually!) + the Virus or Microwave has everything else.....and I mean ...litrally everything else.

Interestingly, the Virus is also a very dark sounding VA imho. Its also very warm sounding in comparison to all the other VA's on the market. Ive run a Prophet 5, Pro-One along side a Virus KC and they go together perfectly. The Microwave is a superb synth....but a little tiresome to program sometimes......check one out before you buy it.

Have you ever tried out a virus before?

Oh... one of you guys said I "cover" industrial songs...lol. I dont cover anything.....cept maybe I might remake a phil collins song.. hehe.

My industrial friend Kurt told me that if anything... I might sell the pro 1 for a korg ms20 if anything. What do you guys think of the ms-20, i've heard it's pretty sick... thanks again guys.

Cant wait to build my SID synth......

Have a look at the demo of the korg legacy collection. They have a MS20 in it. It may not be real analog, but it will give you an idea of the sounds you can make

Did you check out the monomachine by elektron. It has 6 different types of synthesis including the c64 chip that was in the sidstation.

Isn't there a tuning knob for the Pro-one?

And let it warm up first - say start it and let it stand like that for 30 minutes or so before you start to play
