As much as I love the V-synth, it will never replace a good VA. The V-synth is a sound engineering tool which needs great sounds to put in it before you can get great things out of it (IMO). Maybe some sounds from the TI would create some nice V-synth patches (if you know what I mean ).
Hang in there fellas. Hopefully won't be long.

If they don't give us any sort of idea as to what is going on pretty damn quick then i'm cancelling my pre-order and getting this badboy!
Access apparently do not know how to treat their customers anymore. You don't leave them in the dark for 2 + months, they obviously know how anxious we are about this thing and not a word out of them. You have the NAMM, which is what they wait for all year to release all of their best stuff and still nothing. WTF! The better straighten their act up or i'm done with them, bottom line!

Caught a quote over on the link to that FutureProducers forums:

It sounded like it would be late second quarter. We'll see.

Of course that's an unofficial quote, but I'm bemused as to why Access issued their initial release date (mid/late December) so pre-maturely? And why have they advertised the TI everywhere (double page, centre-fold spreads in the last 2 or 3 Sound-On-Sound mags) if there is no addtional info or treats for us consumers at this time?

Hmmm, I'm having serious second thoughts. I might spring for a Macbeth.

It's good to remember that even though the wait is long, Access IS building a NEW piece of hardware with a NEW piece of software and a seamless way to integrate the two. Something that they ave NEVER done I can't imagine the pressure that they're under right now to release this project! There must be a lot of asprin in the shop and a stock of caffine pills!
!Go Access Go!
So that said, I'm waiting. This will be only my second hardware synth and I know if I buy something else I'll kick my own arse for the rest of my life. Or at least the next time I have 2300 dollars laying around. And I'm a college sudent, It's hard to save!

Even with the TI being delayed it still seems like Access is ahead of the other companies in terms of the total integration idea/approach. At least I didn't hear anything else from NAMM that other companies are giong this direction. Could be another 6 months or year before another company has something similar.
The idea of having a computer plugin interface to a hardware synth is just going to be too cool. At least it is in my virus filled dreams )

I'm really disapointed as well
Mostly since I've sold my KC a few months ago to get the TI...
No virus synth for a while I guess
