iMac - Fireface - Lacie love triangle
Hey everyone!
Probably an easy question but i just wanted to know your thoughts on it. I just got myself a new iMac which only has one FW 800 port and a new Lacie 1 TB HD which is also FW 800. Now those two are easy but what the hell should i do with my RME Fireface 400 which only has FW 400? What should i do? Obviously i will have to daisy chain either the HD or Fireface but i don't know which one? If i have my HD connected to my iMac using FW 800 should i daisy chain the Fireface to the HD or the other way around??? Oh and just so you know I'm NOT running a great deal of instruments through the Fireface. Just a few synths ect. Please help
