Hi Glias, which TI Virus do you have? A TI, or a Snow?
The latter doesn't support operating systems earlier than OS v2.7.2. OS v1.0.8 is ancient. I'd try again with the latest version (OS v2.7.3). As far as I know, the Virus doesn't actually start burning the operating system to the ROM until the OS is fully uploaded to the Virus in temporary memory. If the 88% figure was merely the act of uploading the OS to the Virus, and not the actual flashing process, you shouldn't have a problem trying again.
