when it says "2.5.1.02" it certainly didn't update fine. you want to install version 2.7.1.0 and only if it says that in the boot-up screen, the update was successful.
boot the virus while holding the EXIT key and use Virus Control Center (which can be found within the Access folder in applications) to update the firmware or get in touch with access support. hth, marc
