I have also noticed that when you change USB ports the Ti drivers don't get recognized...
Followed Your procedure, but without luck .
(1.0.0 on Orginal CD)

Shall try to disable some USB devices.

deinstall, restart, installing 1.0.0 and connecting to a third USB port, all OK , thanks for info.
