Mates originally called me Timotei (strangely, a shampoo) for a laugh, then Timo stuck. It's kinda rare in the UK, although not in Scandinavia although it's pronounced Teemoh there, not Timoh. Some people still pronounced it Teemoh back from when I was at university. I'm not fussed either way. At least it's better than Timothy.
