i think he's talking about the classic hoover sound, which is usually programmed on its father synth => the roland alpha juno, especially in the older dnb & jungle stuff. Later, in more modern dnb styles (a la TeeBee or Cause for concern, a lot of other synths have been used for that sound)

But a lot of other synth - virus included -are capable of reproducing it : basically it is detuned square oscs with pwm.
You can also use Junglis/Hydra for that sound, they are used a lot in the dnb productions.
