1. Press MULTI to enter 'multi' mode.
The patch number should now start with 'M'. 2. Press PART +/- to change channel/part. Suppose you are on PART 1 (for example) 3. Hold MULTI and press SINGLE Now you can select which patch you want to assign to the channel/part. Remember that PART 1 = MIDI CHANNEL 1 PART 2 = MIDI CHANNEL 2 PART 3 = MIDI CHANNEL 3 etc etc etc. -------------------- Each part can be ON or OFF. PartEnable is in the first option in the CTRL menu when in multi-mode. This is how it works on my VB. Multi mode had me seriously confused and so I just didn't bother with it. The simple solution was just to sit down, take my time and figure it out with the aid of the manual.
