I have a specific editor for Juno1/2 at home if you guys want it. I won't be back there for a month or so, but I'll be happy to send it over.
It's the only way to program them.

The only fucked thing about the Junos is that they have DCOs rather than VCOs. I think it seems to restrict it's sound a little.
Other than that, pretty good suckeee bass can be had with them.

I'd much rather an SH101/MC202 for sure. And Japan is definitely the place to get them for sure!

Hey guys, thanks for all the advice and HC I would love that editor when you get a chance? Do you know what its called so I can track down a copy myself in the meantime perhaps?

The sheer punch and warmth of the Juno is awesome. Also, the noise is like none other.

OOooh, now I've had a taste of analog goodness, there is no way I'm stopping with just the one

Hey Ledge, I've been watching that red SH101 on Trademe, but can't justify spending that kinda money on one ($800NZD) right now. I'll just hang on till I find one for around $5-600NZD

I got it from a mate years ago and I can't remember the name off hand (something like AlphaEdit I think). I'm in Ausi, so I can't just boot up the computer to look either. It wouldn't surprise me if it's shareware by now though. I'll do a quick search now.....

OK, couldn't find the exact one I was using, but there are heaps online. If you guys still want the one I'm using, I'll be happy to send it when I get back. Just let me know.

The Juno was my first taste too. You wait till you get your hands on something a little more analogue - if you know what I mean.

I'll have a look round thanx HC

We did a direct comparison in the studio of the Juno vs all the best softies (Absynth, Albino 2 and a couple Juno emulators) Anyone who says that soft synths sound just as good can stay happy in their delusions as far as I'm concerned. For everyone in the room, there was NO DEBATE!
