No kidding. I keep checking up on there web-site in hopes of some sort of hint as to whats going on. Why they wouldn't post some sort of news update is beyond me. Even a projected shipping date would be fine, or a "Hello we are still hard at work". Photos of the plant to show the TI really exists. How about a poster for every pre-order so we can pretend we have one in our studios.

Its no secret that the TI isnt shipping. Now all we get are roomers. Are they going out of business? Was there a fire at the factory? Corp. Fraud? Cant get enough paper mache and duct tape to build the units?

I WANNA KNOW!

I have no problem waiting for them to fix whats wrong, cause I like knowing Im getting quality. I have a friend who is buying something else cause he doesnt wanna wait. In the end its his loss. I just hope thats not to much of a trend cause I wanna see Access do well.

A little info might help.

Im sure we will have some communication from Access by December '05 either as confirmation of shipping or confirmation of liquidation. Waldorf went quiet for approximately 12 months before dispanding.

Knowing how the software development world works, it could have been something as stupid as a developer who quit and had really poorly documented code that was buggy. That happened to a company I worked for, and they had to scramble and make up bullshit excuses because their development lead had left them high and dry ... all at a time when they were trying to woo a big-fish client (read: millions at stake). So they could have projected a realistic timeframe that suddenly quadrupled because someone left ... or died, or stubbed his toe, etc.

Either way, the only thing that the Powercore Virus doesn't offer me is EQ and polyphony, but there are ways around both. So I'll wait until it ships ... it'll probably come eventually.

hey digital screams!!!, you have claimed that you have a carillon computer and delta 1010.

it sounds like a perfect setup.
whats the hardware synths monitoring throught cubase latency like, as opposed to hardware synths monitored via mixer latency.

have you measred in milliseconds. does it get less than 10 milliseconds through cubase.
with my computer it is unfortunately 17 milliseconds that way.

i should have bought a carillon computer, i have the delta 1010 which is great.

Hi Techy

You must also use the VSE forums? Cool if you do

Well strictly speaker thats my m8's set up but I use it all the time (im still at uni, he graduated 5 years ago).

There is no latency at all running hard synths through the cubase mixer! The Carilion is a very nice audio computer to work with...for those who havent heard about them...here they are >> http://www.carillondirect.com/clnweb...jsp?country=UK

For the money I still think the Delta 1010 is the best sounding card....it too has near zero latency when paired appropriate hardware.

Default Lack of Ads in FM.

I have subscription to FM and noticed there are no advertisements for Access? Seems like a mag they would be in. Anyone notice if there are ads in other mags?

A double-page spread has been in SOS every month since last Nov/Dec.

There is an advert in Audio Technology magazine in Australia too, but the ad is placed by a reseller, not distributor.
