Default So which OS is the most stable?

In the "Trouble.." forum there are lots of people reporting problems with the beta of OS3, and still others reporting pops and clicks during multitimbral performances and so on, even on older OS's.
Which OS do you guys think is the most stable, and suffers from these problems the least?

Currently running 2.7.5, if there is a previous more stable version than this, what features would I lose by downgrading to it?

I realised I'm actually running 2.7.3
How does 2.7.5 compare in terms of stability ? Gonna go read the patch notes now..

don't really recall any major issues with 2.7.3, but 2.7.5 is definitely extremely stable. I am holding off on 3.0 until I finish up a song I am currently working on.

Same here, in fact I'm holding off until a reportedly more stable beta version or full version of OS3 - especially after all the palava with the beta revisions for 2.7

We most often only get posts from the complainers or those with a genuinely unsucessful experience with every version, beta or not. Don't guage any release from the posts here. 2.7 beta had lots of obvious problems, I don't think 3.0 is like that at all. Its your virus, make your own mind up.

I went from 2.7.3 (rock solid) to 2.7.5 (some timing issues) to 3.0b (not usable on the Snow).

Then I went back to 2.7.3. That version works best for me so far - but I'm eagerly awaiting the final 3.0 version with the much better new Virus Control gui and the new features

Does anyone else have the issue in virus control where the banks skip through everytime you change them with the mouse.
