Default Help Please Prodigy Hardcore Bass Sound

Hi All,

Does anyone know if and how to make the bass sound which is in the Prodigy track 'Everybody in the place' please. I've tried to make it, I've tried sampling it and it's just not right.

Any ideas?

Thanks Jeff

Pulse width waves with a touch of FM, I think... Search for pulse width combos between two oscilattors, then the semitones and FM level, you should get close... Maybe some filter envelope modulation as well... Hope it helps

Maybe some filter envelope modulation as well... Try Analogue filter with fair resonance, maybe add a second Low Pass on the second, find the spot for the second (cutoff link on), also try negative envelope amounts, add some analogue boost to it (it could benefit from it being driven by filter envelope to, in mod matrix)... But to sum it up, I think you're dealing with a 303 kind of sound with the screaming filter, with some distortion going on, filter modulation, that sord of deal, and the pulse width kind, not sawtooth...
