My new laptop is a...
DELL!
Inspiron 9000.  Generic Specs: Intel Core Duo Centrino 1830 17.1" Screen! Integrated speakers and sub-woofer! 2 GB RAM 80 GB 7200 RPM Hard Drive DVD Reader/Writer 4-USB 2 1 Firewire 2 Wireless NIC Integrated Video (Poop!) XP Home SP2 Etc... Will use for grad school next year...but for now...Tracktion 2, Wusikstation v3, Lots of Samples, Virtual DJ 3.x. Need to get a Firewire interface, needs to be inexpensive though, maybe a used Presonus Fire Box on eBAY. At any rate, it gets here next week, Yahoo! Dell's outlet gives some really sick discounts on notebooks here in the U.S. It's not a top of the line system, but its more than I need and its the most I can afford. Cheers! -Alex
