So do you have anything else besides the Virus connected to the Belkin Thunderbolt hub? Does the hub create USB ports on the Thunderbolt bus, or does it simply add more ports sharing the same buses on the USB tree?

I've been considering picking up a Belkin Thunderbolt hub, but in my case, I would still need to have two Thunderbolt drives connected to my Thunderbolt bus, and I'm not sure if the Virus would mind sharing. It certainly doesn't like sharing a USB bus.

I've been really disappointed that I haven't been able to take full advantage of the advertised features of a $2000+ synth. The manual says it needs its own USB port, which my set up accommodates. It doesn't say anything about needing its own bus. How have others solved this issue?
