I wouldnt rush out and buy a new pair of monitors...If you think it will be a magical fix for improving your mixes...

Maybe try some simple, inexpensive sound treatment of your space. Also, proper monitor placement and spacing is important. An example, I moved my monitors about a meter from the wall, and my mixes have improved as Im not trying to compensate for the 3dB increase in sound when near surfaces...

Also, just try getting used to your monitors. The more you know them and how they sound, as well as their shortcomings, the more your mixes will improve.

Just some suggestions...
