IMHO, the Virus' Saturation function sounds terrible. It deteriorates/annihilates the sound instead of enhancing it, even when used subtley on what would normally be prime 'saturation' types of sounds (ie. rich pads, leads etc.).

For warmth, I'd choose the PSP Vintage Warmer over the Virus' own Saturation any day. Even PSP VW sounds drop dead gorgeous when pushed really hard, which is far much more than can be said regards the saturation on the Virus. I nearly always leave it off. It tends to sound better.
