yeah i also know a guy who does almost similar, everything is set to on (rack, amp, mixer...) and everything is controlled by only one on/off switch.
i think this is bad for active monitors, at least may be the mk2, in the manual (yes i'm a manual addict hehe) they say they should be the last ones to turn on.
