The pulse will be a good place to start for analog. Once you get a feel for what analog mono's do....you might even try out vintage analogs....which generally speaking sound warmer and more characterful than the pulse. But the pulse is a good place to start for sure. Hope you like it...

Its not as good as the old stuf? Did you read the sos review? Sounds like it is "the" bass synth...

And what about Dave Smiths Evolver? It is also relativly new, but it uses the same filters as in hes old analog synths... Are the envelopes as fast as the pulse?
